ATICO Spray Foam is the Best Insulation for Agricultural buildings

Agricultural structures are not usually easy to insulate. Spray foam insulation is fast becoming the method of choice to insulate agricultural buildings throughout the country, due mainly to the speed and efficiency of installation.

Up to 7 times more effective than conventional insulation, Spray Foam will reduce your energy expenses dramatically. With energy costs on the rise and cold winters, Spray Foam Insulation is the smart choice for agricultural insulation

These are just a few of the benefits that our spray foam could offer you:

Easily applied to tricky areas
No cutting and fitting involved
Eliminates condensation permanently
Complete layer of insulation with no gaps
Makes temperature control far more efficient
Fast installation times compared to other methods
Resistant to vermin

Insulate an old existing farm building or structure instead of buying a new one. Don't invest into costly new steel buildings, convert an older one into a hot shop that'll save you money.  With spray foam it is not necessary to add additional framing and vapor barriers to support conventional insulation. With less labor and materials it makes more sense to use a superior insulation and let the upgrade pay for itself.
Spray foam can be sprayed over metal or wood surfaces without adding any addition material. This will insulate, stop condensation, and air seal the walls and ceiling.  By creating a solid barrier within the skeleton of your building, or on the outside, you will be increasing your structure's strength by up to 200%. Your Spray Foam's strength will last for the life of your building.

The amount of heat retention in the building with one inch of foam is 72%. A second half-inch boosts the efficiency to 81%. By going to two inches of foam the heat retention climbs to 86%. A third inch of foam boosts the efficiency to 90%.

The best payback on normal heating requirements is usually one and a half, to two inches of foam. Any additional foam after two inches isn’t recovered in heat savings. The same foams at the thickness of one and a half inches are used in the manufacturing of freezers. If this can easily retain a temperature of minus twenty-five, then think how easy it is to heat your building.

Why buy a new pre-engineered building when you can convert what you already own into an efficient insulated shop.  If you have no choice but to buy new, insulate it with spray foam to retain the heat.

If you have a specific project that you are looking to insulate, or you would just like some advice and an idea of the budget involved, contact ATICO at 651-285-8493 or info@foam-guys.com and we will get back to you at your convenience to answer any questions you may have.
